| Résumé : |
This volume is focused on the current state-of-the-art in organic photovoltaics (OPVs). This platform has gained significant attention due to the promise of low-cost, lightweight and flexible solar energy conversion. Since the initial demonstration of an OPV more than 30 years ago, there has been a tremendous global research effort which has seen efficiencies exceed 13%. Research has focused on new active layer materials design, new device architectures, photophysics, stability, large scale processing, morphology investigation, mechanical properties, and application specific optimization. In this volume an overview of the state-of-the-art in several of these areas is provided by experts from around the world. Taken as a whole, this volume provides a broad-reaching overview of the state-of-the-art in OPV for a beginner or an experienced researcher in the field. |
