| Résumé : |
Perovskites are materials with ABX3 chemical formula such as calcium titanium oxide (CaTiO3). Prior to metal halide perovskites, metal oxide perovskites received broad research interests for tens of years due to the large variety in material compounds and amazing electronic properties of perovskites. The strong chemical bonding in oxide perovskites provides excellent structural stability (i.e. in a form of mineral on our planet) but also leads to relative large bandgaps, preventing those materials from many optoelectronic applications in visible range. In 2009, Tsutomu Miyasaka first applied organicinorganic halide perovskites (OIHP) as light absorbing materials to solar cells which show strong light harvesting capabilities throughout the whole visible range. Further studies discovered that halide perovskites possess excellent semiconducting properties, which immediately opened up a new research field based on halide perovskites. Up to now, halide perovskites have been demonstrated as a type of solution-processable outstanding semiconductors with wide range applications in photovoltaics, light and X-ray sensing, light-emitting, and lasering. This volume is devoted to provide readers with the primarily material properties of halide perovskites and overview the rapid developing of halide perovskite optoelectronics |
