Stutz, Editeur scientifique Editeur : Boca Raton [USA] : CRC press Année de publication : 2018 Importance : 788 p. Présentation : ill. ISBN/ISSN/EAN : 978-1-315-21824-3 Langues : Anglais (eng) Catégories : Open Access Publications Tags : Optical scanning Laser technology Beam deflection Scanning systems Polygonal scanners Galvanometer scanners Acousto-optics Electro-optics Holographic scanning Image sensors Index. décimale : 621.36 Génie optique Résumé : From its initial publication titled Laser Beam Scanning in 1985 to Handbook of Optical and Laser Scanning, now in its second edition, this reference has kept professionals and students at the forefront of optical scanning technology. Carefully and meticulously updated in each iteration, the book continues to be the most comprehensive scanning resource on the market. It examines the breadth and depth of subtopics in the field from a variety of perspectives. As laser costs come down, and power and availability increase, the potential applications for laser scanning continue to increase. Bringing together the knowledge and experience of 26 authors from England, Japan and the United States, the book provides an excellent resource for understanding the principles of laser scanning. It illustrates the significance of scanning in society today and would help the user get started in developing system concepts using scanning. It can be used as an introduction to the field and as a reference for persons involved in any aspect of optical and laser beam scanning. Titre : Latest Developments in Reality-Based 3D Surveying and Modelling Type de document : document électronique Auteurs : Fabio Remondino, Auteur ; Andreas Georgopoulos, Auteur ; Diego González-Aguilera, Auteur ; Panagiotis Agrafiotis, Auteur Editeur : Basel [Switzerland] : MDPI Année de publication : 2018 Importance : 390 P. ISBN/ISSN/EAN : 978-3-03842-685-1 Langues : Anglais (eng) Catégories : Open Access Publications Tags : 3D surveying 3D modelling data processing 3D technologies multi-source approaches multi-sensor approaches terrestrial 3D modelling 3D reconstruction point cloud analysis 4D modelling Virtual Reality (VR) Augmented Reality (AR) Index. décimale : 621.36 Génie optique Résumé : Reality-based 3D surveying and modelling is playing an important role in various domains and applications. They are protagonists in the documentation, preservation, and valorisation of Cultural Heritage but also in city planning, energy assessment and audit, territorial monitoring, hazard recording, etc.
Recent technological advances supported by the development of fast and efficient algorithms and computer power have enabled the gradual adoption of the above by almost all scientific communities, including Cultural Heritage experts. Consequently, it is always with great interest that the members of this community follow and study reports about this progress. Specialised forums on these very interesting and attractive topics, such as conferences, workshops, and summer schools, are always well attended by multi-disciplinary audiences.
This book originates from the ISPRS/CIPA Workshop, “3D-ARCH 2017 – 3D Virtual Reconstruction and Visualization of Complex Architectures”, which was held in March 2017 in Nafplio, Greece. The workshop’s main scope was to bring together scientists, developers, and advanced users in 3D surveying and data processing and to encourage cooperation and practice sharing in the various fields where 3D technologies are nowadays used. The workshop focused primarily on multi-source and multi-sensor approaches, low-cost sensors and open-source algorithms for terrestrial 3D modelling, automation in data registration, image matching and 3D reconstruction, point cloud analysis, 4D modelling, BIM/HBIM and procedural modelling, accuracy requirement and assessment in 3D reconstructions, 3D applications in terrestrial and underwater environments, Virtual and Augmented Reality (VR/AR) applied to the visualisation and conservation of complex architectures and heritage. The most exciting and innovative papers presented at the workshop were selected to be extended and included in this cornerstone collection.En ligne : https://doi.org/10.3390/books978-3-03842-685-1 Latest Developments in Reality-Based 3D Surveying and Modelling [document électronique] / Fabio Remondino, Auteur ; Andreas Georgopoulos, Auteur ; Diego González-Aguilera, Auteur ; Panagiotis Agrafiotis, Auteur . - Basel (Switzerland) : MDPI, 2018 . - 390 P.

Titre : Light-matter interaction : a crash course for students of optics, photonics and materials science Type de document : texte imprimé Auteurs : Olaf Stenzel, Auteur Editeur : Cham : Springer Année de publication : 2022 Collection : UNITEXT for physics, ISSN 2198-7882 Importance : 548 p. Présentation : ill. en coul., couv. ill Format : 24 cm ISBN/ISSN/EAN : 978-3-030-87146-8 Langues : Anglais (eng) Catégories : Livres Tags : Matière Effets de la lumière Optique Spectroscopie Index. décimale : 621.36 Génie optique Résumé : This book offers a didactic introduction to light–matter interactions at both the classical and semi-classical levels. Pursuing an approach that describes the essential physics behind the functionality of any optical element, it acquaints students with the broad areas of optics and photonics. Its rigorous, bottom-up approach to the subject, using model systems ranging from individual atoms and simple molecules to crystalline and amorphous solids, gradually builds up the reader’s familiarity and confidence with the subject matter. Throughout the book, the detailed mathematical treatment and examples of practical applications are accompanied by problems with worked-out solutions. In short, the book provides the most essential information for any graduate or advanced undergraduate student wishing to begin their course of study in the field of photonics, or to brush up on important concepts prior to an examination.
